What is The Card Album?
The Card Album is my personal collection showcase. I originally designed my first website, CardMagnet.info, from scratch in Microsoft FrontPage and used tables to organize things. The site was updated regularly 2009 to 2021. I’m proud to say that I had regular viewers from around the world, and my content was frequently in the top results on Google’s web and image results. The time came to put some new tools and ideas to use, and so TheCardAlbum.com was born.
About My Collection
I’ve collected a little bit of everything over the years. With over 500 players and coaches from the University of Miami Football program represented, I believe my Hurricanes card collection is the largest one in existence. Along with Canes Football, I also enjoy collecting local natives and sports teams of the Greater Johnstown, PA area. You’ll also find various other baseball cards, hockey cards, football cards, and non-sports cards from my collection pictured on this site.
About Arnold Tucker
Arnold Tucker (January 5, 1924 – January 10, 2019) was a United States Air Force officer who graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1947.
While lettering twice in football, Tucker was a part of three national championship squads (1944, 1945, 1946) on the gridiron. He earned first team all-America honors in 1946 after garnering second team laurels in 1945. After serving as Army’s starting quarterback in 1945 and 1946, Tucker finished fifth in the 1946 Heisman Trophy balloting in 1946, behind teammates Glenn Davis and Felix “Doc” Blanchard among others.[1]
