The Card Album

With over 525 player alumni and staff from the University of Miami Football program represented, I believe my Hurricanes card collection is the most expansive in existence. It includes players that have been inducted into Hall of Fames through practice squad members and those that merely committed and walked away before the season began. Also represented are head coaches, assistants, and other staff members of the program. Along with traditional football cards, I also count similar flat collectables like pocket schedules and ticket stubs.

The Card Album is my personal collection showcase. I originally designed my first website, CardMagnet.info, from scratch in Microsoft FrontPage and used tables to organize things. The site was updated regularly 2009 to 2021. I’m proud to say that I had regular viewers from around the world, and my content was frequently in the top results on Google’s web and image results. The time came to put some new tools and ideas to use, and so TheCardAlbum.com was born.

2015 (Junior): Ended regular season with ACC-leading six interceptions, most by Hurricane since Sean Taylor had 10 in 2003…Started all 12 games in which he competed…Finished year with 36 tackles (26 solo), five PBUs, one fumble recovery and six picks…Six interceptions were tied for 10th-most in single season in Miami history…Entered season among team’s top returners at defensive backs…Started season opener vs. Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 5) and recorded two solo tackles and first interception of season…Interception in red zone ended first drive of second half for Wildcats and was returned four yards…Added five tackles and second interception of season in start vs. FAU (Sept. 11)…Interception vs. Owls came on impressive dive after tipped pass in fourth quarter…Recorded two tackles and third interception of season in start vs. Nebraska (Sept. 19)…Became first Hurricane since Sean Taylor to record interception in three straight games…Had one unassisted tackle in start at Cincinnati (Oct. 1)…Recorded four tackles (two solo) in start at Florida State (Oct. 10)…Recorded first multi-interception game of career in start vs. Virginia Tech (Oct. 17), picking off two passes..Was first multi-INT game by Hurricane since 2013…Added two solo tackles vs. Hokies…Had career-high totals of six solo tackles and seven total tackles in start vs. Clemson (Oct. 24)…Added first fumble recovery of career vs. Tigers…Had three tackles and two PBUs in start at Duke (Oct. 31)…Did not play against Virginia (Nov. 7) due to passing of mother…Had two tackles, one PBU and 0.5 TFLs in start at North Carolina (Nov. 14)…Totaled four solo tackles in start vs. Georgia Tech (Nov. 21)…Recorded sixth interception of season and returned it 19 yards at Pittsburgh (Nov. 27)…Had three tackles and two PBUs in start at Hyundai Sun Bowl in El Paso (Dec. 26).
