What is The Card Album?
The Card Album is my personal collection showcase. I originally designed my first website, CardMagnet.info, from scratch in Microsoft FrontPage and used tables to organize things. The site was updated regularly 2009 to 2021. I’m proud to say that I had regular viewers from around the world, and my content was frequently in the top results on Google’s web and image results. The time came to put some new tools and ideas to use, and so TheCardAlbum.com was born.
About My Collection
I’ve collected a little bit of everything over the years. With over 500 players and coaches from the University of Miami Football program represented, I believe my Hurricanes card collection is the largest one in existence. Along with Canes Football, I also enjoy collecting local natives and sports teams of the Greater Johnstown, PA area. You’ll also find various other baseball cards, hockey cards, football cards, and non-sports cards from my collection pictured on this site.
About Don James
Donald James (December 31, 1932 – October 20, 2013) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Kent State University from 1971 to 1974 and at the University of Washington from 1975 to 1992, compiling a career college football record of 178–76–3 (.698).
