What is The Card Album?

The Card Album is my personal collection showcase. I originally designed my first website, CardMagnet.info, from scratch in Microsoft FrontPage and used tables to organize things. The site was updated regularly 2009 to 2021. I’m proud to say that I had regular viewers from around the world, and my content was frequently in the top results on Google’s web and image results. The time came to put some new tools and ideas to use, and so TheCardAlbum.com was born.

About My Collection

I’ve collected a little bit of everything over the years. With over 500 players and coaches from the University of Miami Football program represented, I believe my Hurricanes card collection is the largest one in existence. Along with Canes Football, I also enjoy collecting local natives and sports teams of the Greater Johnstown, PA area. You’ll also find various other baseball cards, hockey cards, football cards, and non-sports cards from my collection pictured on this site.

About Leon Searcy

Leon Searcy (born December 21, 1969) is an American football coach and former player. He currently works as a radio personality in Jacksonville, Florida.

Searcy is a former NFL offensive lineman who played primarily for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars in an 11-year career spanning from 1992 to 2002. He was drafted in the first-round and 11th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers following his graduation from the University of Miami in the 1992 NFL Draft. This was the first draft pick in the post-Chuck Noll era. Beginning in 1993 (his second year), Searcy was installed at the right tackle position.[1] He stayed in this position until he left the team for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent in 1996.[2]

Searcy spent one season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2001 before signing with the Miami Dolphins in 2002. He tried to earn a starting position with Miami, but was ultimately placed on the injured-reserve list. After the 2002 season, he retired.

From 2004 to 2006, Searcy was the offensive line coach at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
