What is The Card Album?

The Card Album is my personal collection showcase. I originally designed my first website, CardMagnet.info, from scratch in Microsoft FrontPage and used tables to organize things. The site was updated regularly 2009 to 2021. I’m proud to say that I had regular viewers from around the world, and my content was frequently in the top results on Google’s web and image results. The time came to put some new tools and ideas to use, and so TheCardAlbum.com was born.

About My Collection

I’ve collected a little bit of everything over the years. With over 500 players and coaches from the University of Miami Football program represented, I believe my Hurricanes card collection is the largest one in existence. Along with Canes Football, I also enjoy collecting local natives and sports teams of the Greater Johnstown, PA area. You’ll also find various other baseball cards, hockey cards, football cards, and non-sports cards from my collection pictured on this site.

About Loren "Walt" Houston

Walt Houston (born October 26, 1932) is a former American football guard in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins.[1] He graduated from Massillon Washington High School after twice being on Ohio-state championship teams. His senior-year team in 1950, quarterbacked by classmate Don James, was rated the no. 1 high school team in the United States. Houston went on to play college football at University of Miami and Purdue University and was drafted in 26th round of the 1955 NFL Draft.[2]
